According to CME FedWatch, the probability of the Federal Reserve holding rates steady in July is 66.3% as of July 1, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike stands at 33.7%. For September, the odds of maintaining current rates drop to 33.1%, with a 50% probability of a cumulative 25 basis point increase and a 16.9% chance of a cumulative 50 basis point increase.
