France and Oman Announce Joint Demining Cooperation in Strait of Hormuz on June 29

According to Jin10, France and Oman announced on June 29 that they will conduct joint demining operations in the Strait of Hormuz in collaboration with partners to ensure safe maritime passage and maintain free, unconditional transit through the waterway. French President Emmanuel Macron made the statement during a meeting in Paris with Oman's Sultan Haitham al-Said. The two countries also pledged to jointly promote de-escalation efforts in the Middle East.
