Ghana's Hyro Exchange Plans 10% Equity Issuance to Attract Overseas Capital

According to Bloomberg, Hyro Exchange, a Ghana-based crypto exchange, recently completed a seed funding round and is planning to issue approximately 10% additional equity to accelerate expansion across Ghana and key African markets. A local Ghanaian investment firm has already acquired about 10% stake in the exchange, valuing it at several million dollars. The platform, which has been selected for Ghana's virtual asset trading pilot program, aims to tap into Africa's demand for faster and cheaper cross-border payments.
