Hong Kong Stock Market Opens Higher by 7 Points, Alibaba Up 2.7% Today

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opened marginally higher by 7 points to 25,150 today, recovering above the 25,000 level following yesterday's 580-point rally. The move came as the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 0.9% while U.S. stocks declined amid ongoing U.S.-Iran tensions. The Tech Index opened 3 points higher at 4,755.

Tech stocks showed mixed performance. Alibaba surged 2.7% to 119.9 Hong Kong dollars, while Tencent, JD.com, and iQIYI opened slightly higher. Semiconductor stocks advanced, with China Zhouyuan Semiconductor up 3% and China Wafer Level CSP up 4%. AI-related stocks rebounded, including Zhipu AI, which rallied 4.4% after a near 20% decline yesterday.
