Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index Rebounds 354 Points to Close Above 23,000 Amid Tech Rally

On June 29, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) rebounded 354 points to close at 23,026, up 1.57%, reclaiming the 23,000-point level after a five-day decline. The index opened 155 points higher at 22,827 and surged as much as 511 points in morning trading before consolidating in the afternoon. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) rose 144 points or 1.94% to 7,605, while the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 137 points or 3.23% to 4,393. Total market turnover reached 3,153.79 billion Hong Kong dollars, with net southbound capital flows recording a 10.338 billion Hong Kong dollar outflow.
