Iran Refutes U.S. VP Vance's IAEA Entry Claim, Reaffirms Current Cooperation Terms on Monday

According to CNN, Iran on Monday rejected U.S. Vice President Vance's statement that Tehran had agreed to allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to re-enter the country. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei, cited by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), stated that Iran will continue cooperating with the UN nuclear watchdog "according to existing procedures" and in compliance with Iran's safeguards agreement obligations, parliamentary resolutions, and decisions by the Supreme National Security Council. Vance made the claim during a press conference in Switzerland.
