According to MSCI, the developing markets stock index fell 2.6% on Friday, July 25, marking its largest single-day decline in the past month. Meanwhile, the MSCI emerging markets currency index declined 0.1% but remained in a four-week winning streak, its longest consecutive stretch since early January.
