Perplexity Plans to Use Nvidia Vera CPUs, Which Process AI Tasks 1.5x Faster

According to Reuters, Perplexity announced on July 7 that it plans to deploy Nvidia's new Vera central processing units for its operations. Nate Kupp, Perplexity's vice president for computer enterprise and infrastructure, stated that Vera handles AI agent coding tasks approximately 1.5 times faster than traditional CPUs.
