Rocket Lab Launches Victus Haze Mission in 16 Hours 42 Minutes, Beats Record by Over 10 Hours

According to Rocket Lab, the company executed the Victus Haze mission last Friday (June 19) just 16 hours and 42 minutes after receiving the U.S. Space Force's Notice to Launch, surpassing the previous rapid response record by more than 10 hours. The launch received minimal public announcement, with only a pilot and sailor warning issued in advance. Rocket Lab did not provide a livestream, as it typically does for most missions. The objective was to demonstrate how the military and commercial partners could quickly assess potential threats in orbit.
