Sail Research Completes $80M Seed and Series A Funding Led by Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital

According to ChainCatcher, AI Agent infrastructure company Sail Research has completed $80 million in seed and Series A funding. Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital led the round, with Redpoint Ventures, CRV, and Theory Ventures participating. Sail Research builds infrastructure for AI Agents to tackle computational, cost, and runtime constraints in long-duration, multi-step tasks. Its API is compatible with OpenAI interfaces and supports mainstream open-source models including DeepSeek and Gemma.
