Securitize Capital Completes SEC Investment Adviser Registration on July 22, Removes $150M AUM Cap

According to The Defiant, Securitize Capital LLC, a subsidiary of Securitize Corp. (NYSE: SECZ), completed SEC registration as an investment adviser on July 22. Previously operating since March 2023 as an exempt reporting adviser in Florida, the subsidiary could only serve venture capital funds or U.S.-based private funds with assets under management below $150 million. The registration lifts this cap, completing Securitize's regulatory framework for tokenized securities and expanding its U.S. operations to include registered investment adviser, registered broker-dealer, alternative trading system, transfer agent, and fund manager roles.
