South Korea's Government Bond Yields Plummet on July 27, 3-Year Down 9.4bp to 3.865%

According to Yonhapinfomax, South Korean government bond yields plummeted on July 27 as crude oil prices collapsed amid US-Iran ceasefire negotiations. The 3-year yield fell 9.4 basis points to 3.865%, the 10-year dropped 11.4bp to 4.333%, and the 30-year declined 7.6bp to 4.567%.

Foreign investors aggressively bought 3-year government bond futures, with net purchases reaching approximately 29,000 contracts—the largest amount since March 31 last year. WTI crude oil futures fell roughly 5% on the day, extending losses from the previous session's 3.12% decline.
