SpaceX Gets Lowest MSCI ESG Rating After $75B IPO; Stock Hits $181

According to MSCI's assessment on June 22, 2026, SpaceX received the lowest CCC rating on its Environmental, Social and Governance scale following the company's recent IPO. The rating agency cited concerns around concentrated insider control, limited shareholder rights, and environmental impacts from rocket launches and the expanding Starlink satellite constellation.

Despite the poor ESG score, SpaceX raised approximately $75 billion during its June IPO at $135 per share. The stock has since climbed to $181, valuing the company at roughly $2.39 trillion and placing it among the world's most valuable publicly traded firms.
