SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket successfully deployed SiriusXM SXM-11 satellite into geostationary orbit late Sunday (June 29) at 10:25 p.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission marked the 17th flight of reusable booster B1085, which landed successfully after launch. The new satellite will replace two aging SiriusXM spacecraft currently operating in geostationary orbit approximately 35,786 kilometers above Earth, providing uninterrupted radio coverage across North America.
