Tata Electronics Data Breach Exposes iPhone 18 Pro Components and Suppliers to Dark Web

According to Reuters, Tata Electronics, a key Apple supplier, recently suffered a ransomware attack by World Leaks, with stolen files posted to the dark web. The leaked data includes iPhone 18 Pro design photos, component specifications, and sensitive supplier lists. At least six files detail iPhone 18 Pro components and their corresponding suppliers, covering mainboard chips, batteries, cameras, and other parts. The breach also exposed related data from suppliers including TSMC and Qualcomm. Documents bear Apple's "Confidential" watermark and iPhone 18 Pro project codes, with photos dated from early 2026 showing drop tests at Tata's facility. The leaks reveal hundreds of iPhone 18 Pro components, supplier dependencies, and which parts rely on single vendors, potentially compromising Apple's supply chain leverage and resilience.
