According to Bloomberg and Morningstar, Tesla's Grunheide facility in Germany is ramping production to target up to 7,500 vehicles per week, or approximately 375,000 annually, as Model Y demand improves across European markets. Morningstar expects Tesla's 2026 deliveries to grow about 10% to nearly 1.8 million vehicles, up from 1.64 million last year, with higher automotive gross profit margins in the high teens excluding regulatory credits.
Tesla shares rose 0.3% overnight on Sunday as the production expansion took shape. Morningstar raised its fair value estimate for Tesla to $450 from $425, implying an 18% upside, citing stronger margins from expanded production and lower-priced Model variants.
