Gate News message, April 28 — Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm's defense attorney, Keri Curtis Axel, told crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett that remarks made by U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche at a Bitcoin conference have not brought hope to the case. Axel stated that while the Department of Justice continues to prosecute Roman Storm, it claims to have "changed the game," which she described as not credible. She also disputed Blanche's assertion that the case could be escalated to the highest levels.

Blanche had previously stated that developers who do not assist in criminal activity will not be prosecuted.
