Typhoon Bavi Weakens to Tropical Storm, Continues Northeast Movement; Jiangsu, Shandong in Path

According to China Meteorological Administration, Typhoon Bavi weakened to tropical storm level on July 13, with maximum sustained winds of 8 on the Beaufort scale (20 m/s) near its center located in Anhui Province. The typhoon is moving northeast at approximately 15 km/h with intensity expected to remain stable. Bavi is forecast to enter the northern Bohai Sea by July 14 and gradually transition into a temperate cyclone, continuing to affect Jiangsu, Shandong, and northeastern regions.
