UK Q1 Current Account Deficit Misses Expectations at 22.134 Billion Pounds

The UK's current account deficit for the first quarter reached 22.134 billion pounds, falling short of the forecasted 20.7 billion pounds. The Office for National Statistics also revised the previous quarter's figure downward substantially, from an initial reading of 18.392 billion pounds to 27.178 billion pounds.
