U.S. Crude Output Hits 1.393M Barrels Per Day in April, a Record High

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), American crude oil production reached 13.93 million barrels per day in April, marking a historic high. Meanwhile, Brazil's state-owned oil company announced on July 1 a diesel price cut of 0.35 reais per liter for distributors, maintaining an average price of 3.30 reais per liter. Goldman Sachs forecasts global crude oversupply may exceed 3 million barrels daily due to restocking difficulties amid ample supply. Additionally, South32 agreed to sell most of its aluminum assets to Alcoa, with a deal valued up to $5.6 billion.
