U.S. Natural Gas Inventories Rise 76 Billion Cubic Feet Last Week, Beating Forecast

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), American natural gas inventories grew by 76 billion cubic feet last week, surpassing analyst expectations of 69.22 billion cubic feet. The weekly increase represented a 2.75% rise, compared with a 2.72% increase in the prior week, bringing total inventories to 2.84 trillion cubic feet.
