On July 28, U.S. storage chip stocks dropped 9.1% in preliminary trading, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index declining 4.4%. The Nasdaq-100 Index fell 1%, while the S&P 500 Index rose 0.2%. Among Nasdaq-100 components, SanDisk led declines with a 13.8% drop, followed by Nebius Group at 10.5% and Seagate Technology at 9.1%.
