USDA Confirms 4 Screwworm Cases on Texas Farm, Largest Cluster to Date

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), three cattle and one goat tested positive for New World screwworm on a single property in Terrell County, Texas this week—the largest cluster of infections reported since the disease was detected in the United States. The Texas Animal Health Commission said the affected animals came from the same location in the county bordering Mexico.
