Venezuela Death Toll Rises to 3,535 From June 24 Earthquakes; 16,740 Injured

According to Venezuela's National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez on July 6, two powerful earthquakes in the country since June 24 have killed 3,535 people and injured 16,740.

The government reported 6,462 people rescued so far, with 17,854 remaining homeless. A total of 1,048 aftershocks have been recorded since the initial earthquake on June 24.
