0G Labs Unveils Agora Framework, Discovers 15 Unknown Consensus Protocol Vulnerabilities at ICML 2026

According to Odaily, 0G Labs in collaboration with research teams from National University of Singapore, Peking University, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications unveiled Agora at ICML 2026, an automated testing framework for consensus protocols. The framework discovered 15 previously unknown logic-level vulnerabilities in protocols including Raft, EPaxos, HotStuff, and BullShark.

Agora achieved 73.9% true positive rate in vulnerability reports, with an average cost of approximately $40 per identified vulnerability. The framework code has been released as open source.
