244 Crypto Asset Service Providers Complete MiCA Registration as EU Regulatory Framework Fully Takes Effect on July 2

According to BlockBeats, on July 2, the European Union's comprehensive cryptocurrency regulatory framework, MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation), fully came into effect following the end of its final transition period. According to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), 244 authorized crypto asset service providers (CASP) have completed registration as of late June. Platforms holding MiCA licenses can now operate across the entire EU under a unified regulatory framework, while unlicensed firms must gradually exit or restrict services to EU customers.
