CBOT Soybean Futures Rise 3.75% Week of July 10 as Buyers Ramp Up U.S. Purchases

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, CBOT soybean futures climbed 3.75% in the week ending July 10 as buyers accelerated purchases of American soybeans. The USDA confirmed sales of 472,000 tonnes to China on July 9, followed by 136,000 tonnes on July 10 and 264,000 tonnes on July 11, with most deliveries scheduled for the 2026/27 crop year.

The USDA's weekly supply and demand report on July 11 raised its 2026/27 soybean production forecast by 40 million bushels to 4.475 billion bushels, citing improved planting data. Export projections increased by 30 million bushels to 1.66 billion bushels, up 9.2% year-over-year. Ending stocks were held flat at 310 million bushels, down 6.1% from the prior year.
