The decline followed President Trump's announcement to reinstate a maritime blockade on Iran and impose a 20% tariff on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, reviving regional supply concerns.

WTI crude oil surged 9.42% to $78.14 per barrel, posting its largest daily gain since April. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rose 4.30 basis points to 4.61%, and the dollar index climbed 0.31% to 101.279.
