Wallet Vulnerability Since 2018 Led to $3.14M Theft Last Month, Coinspect Warns

According to Coinspect Security, unsecure code used to generate cryptocurrency wallet seeds since 2018 resulted in the theft of $3.14 million last month (June 2026), with most losses unreported. The security firm discovered thousands of seeds that were actively used, with many remaining at risk. Coinspect warned that affected users are likely concentrated in China.
