Ukraine Seizes 8.3M USDT from Hacking Group, First Time Managing Crypto Assets

Recently, Ukraine's Prosecutor General office transferred over 8.3 million USDT seized from alleged international hacking group members to a state asset recovery wallet, according to a Telegram statement. The four suspects, including the organizer, were detained, and total seized assets reached $11.1 million, including property, vehicles, $1 million in cash and cryptocurrency. The hacking group targeted Europe and the US, stealing confidential data and demanding ransom, causing over $100 million in damages.
