U.S. Non-Farm Payroll Growth Misses at 57,000 in June; Unemployment Falls to 4.2%

According to Jin10 data, the U.S. added 57,000 non-farm jobs in June, falling short of market expectations of 110,000 and marking a significant slowdown. The unemployment rate declined to 4.2%, the lowest level since June 2025 and better than the forecast of 4.3%. Prior data for April and May were revised down by a combined 74,000 positions.
