Venezuela's Largest Refinery Amuay Resumes Operations on July 3, Processing 140,000 Barrels Per Day

According to Jin10, Venezuela's largest refinery, Amuay, resumed operations on Friday (July 3) following a power outage. The facility, which has a daily processing capacity of 645,000 barrels, is currently processing approximately 140,000 barrels per day of crude oil. Its fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit has also resumed operations.

The outages followed two earthquakes last week that caused severe casualties across Venezuela's refinery sector. A separate source also reported that the El Palito refinery, with a daily processing capacity of 146,000 barrels, has restored power but has not yet restarted production units.
