Hong Kong's AUM Hits Record $5.4 Trillion in 2025, Up 20% Year-on-Year

According to Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong's assets under management reached HK$42.2 trillion ($5.4 trillion) in 2025, marking a record high with year-on-year growth of 20%. Net capital inflows surged 193% to HK$2.1 trillion ($265 billion), marking the third consecutive year of increases. Asset management and fund advisory business AUM rose 19% to HK$31 trillion ($4 trillion), while the number of licensed asset management firms increased 7% to 2,358 institutions.
